Jewellery Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy applies to all jewellery purchased from XOOHON through xoohon.ocm.au or any authorized sales channels.

In this policy, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to XOOHON (ACN: 678319250).

 

1. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to:

  • a replacement or refund for a major failure, and

  • compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits or excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

 

2. Limited Jewellery Warranty

XOOHON provides a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase covering defects in materials and workmanship.

If a manufacturing defect occurs during the warranty period, we may at our discretion:

  • repair the jewellery

  • replace the jewellery

  • provide a refund where repair or replacement is not possible.

Proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim.

 

3. What Is Covered

This warranty covers:

  • manufacturing defects

  • setting defects

  • structural faults caused by workmanship.

For example:

  • loose stone due to manufacturing defect

  • faulty clasp

  • structural failure in the jewellery setting.

4. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • normal wear and tear

  • accidental damage

  • misuse or improper handling

  • resizing performed by third-party jewellers

  • loss or theft of jewellery

  • damage caused by chemicals or harsh cleaning products.

Minor cosmetic changes due to regular wear are considered normal and are not covered.

 

5. Lab-Grown Diamond and Gemstone Disclaimer

Natural variations in gemstones or lab-grown diamonds, including minor inclusions or colour variations, are normal characteristics and are not considered defects.

Diamond certificates issued by independent laboratories reflect grading assessments and are not covered by this warranty.

 

6. Warranty Claim Process

If required, we may ask you to return the item for inspection.

 

7. Return Shipping for Warranty Claims

If the product is determined to be faulty, XOOHON may cover reasonable return shipping costs.

If the item is found not to be defective, the customer may be responsible for shipping and inspection costs.

We recommend that all returned jewellery be shipped using insured and trackable delivery services.

 

8. Repairs Outside Warranty

Repairs outside the warranty period may be available for an additional fee.
